Connecting Climate Action, Social Inclusion, and Sustainable Cities
MajmusSunda News – Bandung, Selasa (07/07/2026) – ASCODI Lab, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment/Environmental Management Agency of the Republic of Indonesia, will officially launch the Asia–Africa Inclusive Nexus Dialogue (AAIND) 2026 through its inaugural strategic dialogue as part of the Asia Africa Festival 2026. The initiative aims to renew the Bandung Spirit by strengthening collaboration among governments, cities, universities, civil society, businesses, development partners, and communities in addressing the interconnected challenges facing Asia and Africa.
Held in Bandung, the historic birthplace of the 1955 Asia–Africa Conference, AAIND is envisioned as a long-term platform that brings together governments, cities, universities, civil society, businesses, development partners, and communities to address the interconnected challenges shaping the future of Asia and Africa.
Recognizing that climate change, environmental degradation, rapid urbanization, inequality, and social exclusion can no longer be addressed in isolation, AAIND promotes an Inclusive Nexus approach that connects climate action, social inclusion, science, innovation, and sustainable urban development through collaborative leadership and shared solutions.
More than a dialogue, AAIND seeks to strengthen people-to-people, city-to-city, and multi-stakeholder collaboration, transforming the Bandung Spirit from a historic milestone into a living platform for collective action across Asia and Africa.
We hope this inaugural dialogue marks the beginning of a shared journey toward more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable societies, where no one is left behind.
